Easter Open Day 2026 - Learning about Romanian Easter traditions
Our Easter celebration brought the warmth and richness of Romanian traditions to life!
During this hands-on workshop, attendees learned to create naturally colored Easter eggs, a cherished Romanian custom passed down through generations.
Participants also had the chance to bake traditional Romanian pastries and try a variety of authentic Romanian dishes, discovering the flavors and techniques that make Romanian cuisine so unique.
This immersive experience offered a perfect blend of creativity, culture, and culinary delight, giving everyone the opportunity to celebrate Easter in a truly meaningful way.
It was a wonderful way to connect with heritage, learn new skills, and enjoy the festive spirit of Romania.
Support and Connection for Parents of Children with Autism & ADHD
RO Kent CIC invites parents and carers to a warm and welcoming support session designed especially for families of children with Autism and ADHD.
This event creates a safe space to connect with other parents, share experiences, and access helpful guidance in a friendly and understanding environment. Together, we aim to build stronger connections, reduce isolation, and empower families through shared support.

Join us on 6th December 2025 at the Abbots Barton Hotel, Canterbury for a day full of culture, creativity, and festive cheer.
11:00 – 19:30 | Explore our exhibition of traditional Romanian costumes and enjoy creative workshops for all ages.
16:30 – 19:30 | Experience a festive celebration with carols, poems, and storytelling.
Charity Auction: Bid on unique handmade and artistic pieces — traditional and contemporary. All proceeds support future cultural events.
Free Entry – everyone is welcome! Your participation in the auction helps us continue sharing the beauty of Romanian heritage in Kent.
