The Romanian Saturday School St Stephen
Școala Românească de Sâmbătă "Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt"
The Romanian Saturday School, run by RO Kent CIC, is more than just a place to learn — it’s a vibrant community where children grow connected to their roots while building confidence and friendships that cross cultures.
Our Saturday School offers engaging lessons in the Romanian language, history, and traditions, helping pupils strengthen their bilingual skills and cultural identity in a warm and supportive environment. Through creative workshops, storytelling, music, and projects, children learn not only about Romania’s heritage but also about respect, diversity, and the joy of belonging.
Open to all pupils, regardless of nationality or background, our school promotes cultural exchange and understanding. It’s a place where families come together, where parents reconnect with their culture, and where children proudly carry it forward — bridging the past with the future.

Visit to The Beaney Museum in Canterbury
At The Romanian Saturday School “Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt” Kent, we enrich our pupils’ learning through engaging extracurricular activities. As part of this, we organise a monthly visit to The Beaney Museum in Canterbury, where children explore history, art, and culture in an interactive and inspiring environment. These visits support curiosity, language development, and a deeper connection with both Romanian and British heritage, making learning meaningful beyond the classroom.
